On May 30th, the Hungarian Cycling Federation held its leadership election in Budapest, where Béla Kovács was re-elected as the Vice President of Professional Affairs.

The sports leader, now beginning his third term on the executive board, is dedicated to the national management of the sport and is also committed to cycling matters in Debrecen. He leads the DSI Cycling Team, is associated with the establishment of the VeloPark in Debrecen, and participates in the development of cycling strategies.


In his first speech, the new president of the Hungarian Cycling Federation, Domonkos Schneller, emphasized that the plan is to host several prestigious international competitions at the Debrecen VeloPark, with the goal of organizing a Cyclo-cross World Championship within this four-year presidential term, where he naturally counts on the city and the newly re-elected Vice President of the Federation.
